PAINTING AND SIPPING MY DAYS AWAY.

Painting and Sipping my days away.

Marcus Community Fair

Over the last 7 years, life has been full of adventures.  I started a business (or six depending on how you look at it), became Grammy for the first time, and traveled to some amazing parts of the world.

Six and a half years ago I started Creative Spirits.  We painted, sipped and created our way across 4 states and at the high point 6 studios.  It was a really fun adventure, I met some amazing people, worked with fabulous artists, and honed my business and management skills, and I did what I do best, I created a party every day.  I had a saying if we weren't having fun we weren't doing it right. Creative Spirits was a five-year plan and I was fortunate enough to be able to sell it at the beginning of year 6.

I was very fortunate to be able to travel to parts of the world that hadn't even made my bucket list because of wonderful family connections.  We traveled to South Africa to visit my middle daughter's-in-laws, I travel on a business trip with my youngest daughter to France, Spain, and Central Germany, and we did a fabulous family vacation a couple of years ago to Luxenbourgh, Southern Germany and France.  And, of course, we took our granddaughter to the Magic Kingdom last year. They were all great adventures with Africa winning out, I kept wanting to pinch myself on the game drives.

I cannot believe our little Alice turned six 2 days ago.  She was our New Year 2013 present, we received the call just before midnight while we were at a New Years Eve fundraiser that Krysti and Jon were on their way to the hospital.  Alice was born within the first hour of 2013.  She is a bright, happy, artistic, funny, beautiful little girl that is growing up much too quickly for this Grammy.

I am very excited to be back on the phone speaking with all of you wonderful people.  It has been so much fun making new connections and reconnecting with so many of you that I have worked with over the years.  Please let me know where you have been and what you have been up to over the last 7 years, I look forward to catching up or getting to know you for the first time.  Make 2019 a year of connections and building relationships.

Happy New Year,

Barb
